Christine Frazier Obituary

Christine Virginia Frazier was born March 29, 1943 in Montgomery County, Maryland to the late Sterling and Vicinia Frazier. She entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2024 at her home in West Virginia.

Christine was raised in Emory Grove and attended Longview Elementary School and Carver High School. Christine was employed by several nursing and retirement homes throughout her life and then retired.

Christine was a longtime member of Covenant Life Church where she was baptized on April 10, 2022. She also attended Emory Grove UMC.

You would always find her with a huge smile on her face. Her laughter was contagious, she had a warm spirit and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Christine favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved decorating the house and telling her daughter where to put the lights and bulbs while she sat on the couch. She loved to watch football, cook and plant her flowers. But most of all, spent time with her family, oh! and also fishing with her grandson, listening to oldies-but-goodies. She enjoyed watching westerns, soap operas, reading her bible, while Oreo sat next to her in her favorite chair.

Christine loved her family, especially her daughter, who was not just her daughter but her best friend. If you saw one you saw the other not far behind. Her grandson who she shared a great bond with, her great grandson whom she thought she would never be a great grandmother, but she got her wish, he is her pride and joy.

Christine was preceded in death by her brother Alvin and sister Aline Frazier; niece Melissa Taylor; nephew Gregory Frazier. Left to cherish her memories her daughter Sterline Frazier; Grandson Rondale Sterling Frazier; great grandson Rondale (RJ) Sterling Frazier, Jr, Devin Pulley; daughter in-law Lan Ly; son Wayne (Anthony) Williams; nephews Anthony and Guyus (Kelly) Frazier, Brandon Taylor; nieces Cheryl Frazier-Braxton (Jimmy), Sandra Jackson-Prather (Haywood), Kimberly Sherman (Eugene), Faye Little (Anthony) and Vicinia Jordan (Carlton); her loving pet Oreo; best friend Rhoda Frazier; and a host of other great nieces and great nephews, family and friends.
