Anthony James Wilson

Anthony James Wilson was born on October 17th, 1944 in Washington, D.C., to the late Rebecca Osborn Wilson and Deacon James Wilson. Anthony transitioned to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 18,2018.

Anthony received his education in the D.C. Public Schools and received his high school diploma from Eastern High School. Anthony was a hard worker at Willard & Packaging until retirement.

Anthony had a very loving heart. He claimed everyone as family and treated them as so. Anthony was a devoted family man. He never missed an opportunity to affirm his love for his family.

Anthony will join parents; Rebecca and James Wilson, his son, Michael Wilson, and seven siblings; James Wilson, Jr., Christine Wilson Black, John S. Osborne, Manon Osborne, Youel C. Wilson, Gladys L. Wilson and Joshua F. Wilson.

Anthony is survived by one sister, Donna Wilson, one brother, Edward Wilson and seven children, Gregory Wilson, Kevin, Sherita, Anthony, Nikki, Florence and Kiesha Williams. Anthony also leaves behind an abundance of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. In addition, he leaves behind special loved ones, Evelyn and Karrie McRoy.
