Dorothy May Grooms was born in Rockville, Maryland on January 10,1934 to the late Lloyd Hall and the late Ethel Bell. She was educated in Montgomery County Public Schools. She worked until she retired.
She was a loving grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Grooms, son, Arthur Hall; sisters, Helen Williams, Susan Hebron, Betty Young, and Ethel Copeland; and brothers; Jack, James, Lloyd, Oliver, Charles, and Carl Hall.
She went home to glory on October 1,2018 at the age of 84, in the Collingswood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She leaves to cherish her memory three granddaughters; Joni Hebron, Dreama and Monica Hall; one great-grandson, Jason Hall; three sisters: Margaret Claggett, Anna Cross, and Edith Hart; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
