Eloise Riggs

Eloise Riggs, born June 25, 1938 was the youngest of seven children born to the late Lillie Mae & Marcellus Riggs.  Born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, she departed this life on Sunday, April 28, 2019.  Her parents and all of her siblings preceded her in death.

Eloise never married or had children, but all of her nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews were her children.  She loved and spoiled every single one of them!  She was so fonldy known by even those in the extended family as “Aunt Eloise.” 

Aunt Eloise was always the life of the party.  She was not given a middle name at birth probably because “fun” did become her middle name.

Aunt Eloise loved to travel.  We definitely lost our “road dog.”  Down the East Coast and down the West Coast she rode with us.  She never complained and had a few mishaps along the way, but got right back in the saddle and finished the trip.  Just last year in Vegas, she was hospitalized briefly.  She told the doctor she had to get to Collin’s basketball game, and sure enough she was at the game on time.

Aunt Eloise will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
