Gladys Areta Snowden Price, devoted wife of the late Paul Leonard Price, Sr., peacefully entered eternal rest on August 8, 2019 in Lanham, MD. Youngest daughter of the late Thomas E., Sr., and Lena Snowden, she was born in Howard County, Maryland on September 12, 1919. She was a Washingtonian for over 50 years and retired from the Federal Government after 30 years of service. An avid traveler, she has taken many trips, including cruises with family and friends, and across the states to trapshooting events. She followed the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles faithfully. One of her favorite pastimes was to spend family time at her summer home at Mill Point Shores, Chaptico, Maryland.
Gladys was a devoted mother to her children Paula P. Campbell, Paul L. Price, Jr. (Rose), the late Brenda P. Henry and son-in-law Ernest B. Henry. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Samuel Campbell, III (Kitt), Steven Campbell (Peggy), Scott Campbell (Keelavor), PG Price (Marguerite), Jessica Payne (David), Leontyne Henry, Ernest N. Henry (Vania) and Tasha Johnson (Eric); Great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Laboy, Matthew Snyder, Gloria Snyder, Maddison Snyder, Steven Snyder, Zoey Snyder, Leonard Campbell, Sara Price, Samuel Campbell, Darrin Thomas, Quincy Thomas and Rebecca Thomas; nieces, June S. Johnson (Junius) and Endia Snowden; brother-in-law Richard W. Wallace; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandsons Evan and Jonathan Henry; brother Thomas E. Snowden, Jr., and sister Lillian S. Wallace.
