Janice Rebecca Morgan was born on January 23,1950 to Mary L. Talley and the late John C. Talley in Bethesda, Maryland. At her home on August 30,2018 at 10:55am she received her wings and flew home.
She was educated in Montgomery County Public Schools, graduating from Gaithersburg High School. After graduating she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, being honorably discharged she went to work for National Oceanic and Atmosphere( NOAA) for thirty two years, until her retirement in 2010.
Janice was known for her skills in the kitchen. You could often find her spearheading the kitchen for homecoming and funerals at her church. Janice loved her family as well as her church family. On Sundays Janice always cooked a meal for family and friends. Being a lover of music, she has an extensive collection of oldies but goodies. Her love for her family was immeasurable. Family meant everything to her. She was sure to let all of us know that “she was the oldest”.
Janice leaves a legacy of love to her two devoted sons, Pernell A. Talley (Helen) and Nathaniel W. Morgan Jr.; mother, Mary L. Talley; sisters Rita Talley and Brita Hollin (Marvin); brothers, Mitchell (DelLisa) and Bernard Talley; seven grandchildren, Mijan, Jordan & Mirella Talley, Kimberly & Roberto Abreu, Michelle and Jessica Chavez; two great grandsons that she cherished Gino Jr. and Aarion Kennedy; qne uncle, Paul Hawkins; special friends, Barbra Coates, BarbraAnn Johnson, JoanPrather, Peggy Simms, Nancy Cann, Dorothy Hebron, CoWorkers, Marilyn and Tracy;godson, Quentin Talley;a host of nieces, nephews other realatives and friends.
