Jeffrey Justice, Sr. was born on November 17, 1963, to Lewis Ashley and Diane Ashley Price, in Aiken, SC. He was the second oldest of five children and the only son. Two bonus sisters Teresa Justice and Sharese Williams (cousins). Jeffrey was known to family and friends as ' 'Jeff ' . He strived to achieve all that he knew of becoming a man at such an early age. He showed his " Great Soul" by starting to work at the age of 12 " selling peanuts" for a small grocery store.
Jeff was educated in the Aiken County School System and was much disciplined in his studies and extra curriculum activities playing Basketball through his middle and high school years. He was a phenomenal gifted player and played the game well. He received many accolades and pictures in the local newspaper. After graduating he decided to go to the Military because he was passionate about his nation, education, and protecting others. While serving in the United States Chief of Naval Operations for 3.5 years he decided to become an engineer. He wanted to start a business so he could be that entrepreneur he always dreamed of from childhood. The desire to create jobs for others motivated him to strive in order accomplish the task. The Naval Academy sent him to school and advanced him in rank in Pensacola Florida.
Jeff was introduced to his religious traditions at an early age at Second Baptist Church and baptized at the age of 7, under the auspices of Rev. Adams, in Aiken, SC. Thereafter he remained in a " spiritual" relationship with God in his walk of life until his death on Feb 17, 2019. For many years, Jeff worked as a Painter and HVAC Engineer. He later completed 95% of his classes at Montgomery College Rockville/Silver Spring Maryland/ Gwinnett Technical College Georgia studying for his Bachelor's Degree in HVAC Engineer. “Jeff” loved listening to music, laughing, being with his family, having fun with friends, and was dedicated to his studies. Displaying a wonderful " knack" for solving problems, he truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; and had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep, positive way. He continued pressing on and moving toward the mark of God even in his weakest state. He was determined to complete his degree in HVAC Engineering.
His sense of humor got him through the toughest and the weakest times of his journey in life and as he would say, it 's never too late to ask for forgiveness and accept forgiveness no matter what the circumstance(s) are, and it manifest itself " Burden of Proof". Another motivational quote that he would always say "Self- preservation is the first law to man." United we stand and together we rise!
On February 17th, God called Jeff home to eternal rest. He was preceded in death by both parents. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle, great uncle, grandfather, cousin, and good-hearted friend who loved God and his family.
