Robert Allen Williams

Robert passed away from this life the evening of November 25th after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded by his loving family during the last days of his life.

Robert was born in Winchester, Virginia but resided in Poolesville, Maryland for most of his life. The remainder of his days were spent in Lexington, North Carolina.

Robert was also known as "Skip" or " RA" by his family and close friends and to his grandchildren he was "pop-pop or papi", he would answer to them all because he loved his family very much and if you knew him you know that he also spoiled his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Robert was a faithful fan of the Washington Redskins and was disappointed for many seasons, but he still supported his team. As many of his friend liked rival teams, Robert loved watching his team play anyway while enjoying his fried chicken, Black & Mild cigars and a Busch beer.

Robert was proceeded in death his loving wife Diane Williams, his father Robert Samuel William and his mother Fern Elizabeth Williams.

Robert is survived by four children: Tonya Ausberry, Civita Casey, Rosslyn Gilmore (Sean Gilmore), and Robert Williams, Jr. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren: LaTisha Williams, Nikea Walker, Robert Willi ams, Channel Williams, Tyecia Thomas, Kmille Gilmore, Tyvita Thomas, Kaitlin Gilmore, De Von Williams, Hannah Williams, Norah Williams , and Sarah Williams. He was also blessed with thirteen great grandchildren: Demetrius, Harrnoni, Amyrah, Dax, Leroy, II, Honesti, Alora, Brielle, Laila, A'Lahni, Ariana, Aniyah, and Da'Jour.
