Tyrik Lézon Meres beloved son of Lydia Meres and James H. Shuler Jr. was born on July 28, 1997 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. Early Tuesday morning, of September 24, 2019, Tyrik Meres peacefully transitioned through heavens door when he heard God’s call.
Tyrik attended Montgomery County Public Schools and earned many certificates and awards for his outstanding academic achievements, including Wheaton High School where he successfully earned his Diploma and moved on to attend Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland.
Tyrik was an avid sports guru. During his youth years he played Soccer for Montgomery Soccer Inc. and Basketball for Montgomery County Recreation. While attending High School he stayed active by playing Football, Basketball and Lacrosse.
Tyrik also had a passion for music since he was five years old. He was a talented and dedicated musician who wrote his own lyrics and executed them nicely. Some of his music posted on YouTube has attracted so many, including some well-known rappers.
Tyrik had many personal qualities. He was a caring and loving individual who tried to make everyone around him happy. Tyrik also had the most beautiful smile and contagious laugh, which brightened every individual he encountered.
He leaves to fond memories for his mother, Lydia Meres; father, James H. Shuler Jr.; sister Secret Meres-Shuler; grandparents; a girlfriend who is expecting his child and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
