William Jones Obituary
William Henry Jones was born August 26, 1931 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was raised by his mother Theresa Jones in Washington, DC. After, he graduated from Phelps Vocational High School, he was awarded a sports scholarship in football and baseball by Delaware State University.
A lifetime resident of Washington, DC, he worked at the Library of Congress for 38 years.
His memory will be forever cherished in the lives of his wife Peggy Jones, his five children, Barbara Mimms, William Jones (Ruth, deceased), Linda Perry, deceased, Donna Jones and Michael Jones and his six stepchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
