Ann Sherree Lincoln, known to all as Sherree, was called peacefully to eternal rest while surrounded by family on February 11, 2025. Born on May 15, 1957, she was the beloved oldest daughter of the late Peggy A. Burriss and William O. Burriss Sr.
Sherree was the devoted wife of Malvin ‘Kenny’ Lincoln Jr, her loving husband of 42 years. She was the loving mother to Malvin ‘Little Kenny’ Lincoln III and doting grandmother (G Ree) to Malvin Lincoln IV, the apple of her eye.
Sherree received her education in the Montgomery County school system. She graduated from Richard Montgomery H.S. in 1975, and went on to attend Morgan State University. Sherree was passionate about sports, volunteering, and most importantly, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sherree’s heart was often filled by the Holy Spirit while singing soprano with the Promises of God gospel group. She attended many sporting events including basketball games, baseball games, horse racing, and drag racing, to name few. Sherree spent long days at track & field events, volunteering time and energy with the Firebirds Athletic Club.
Sherree dedicated herself to the retail industry for over 30 years. She worked at various stores most notably at Marianne, Gantos, and Lane Bryant. She began her career as a sales associate and through hard work and dedication, rose to the position of manager. Sherree had a passion for helping customers find the perfect gift and creating beautiful window displays.
She leaves to mourn her husband Malvin ‘Kenny’ Lincoln Jr; her children, Malvin ‘Kenny’ Lincoln III and Shakia Stewart, grandchildren Malvin Lincoln IV and Niya Stewart, brothers William ‘Nuck’ Burriss Jr (Dee), Terrell Burriss and William ‘Bummie’ Lee, sisters Krystal Burriss, Debbie Lincoln, Margie Lincoln and Deirdre ‘Dee’ Burriss, nieces Kapresha Burriss, Keyona Burriss, Staci Brooks and Amber Lee, nephews William ‘Ozzie’ Burriss III, Donovan Burriss (Zoe), Artavius ‘AC’ Lincoln, James ‘Jay’ Shelton III, Kendell Shelton and Marcus Lee. Sherree is survived by her aunt Reverend Jane Wood, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Sherree is also survived by Jennifer Lincoln, her daughter-in-love.
