Barry Edward Wilson

Barry Edward Wilson (also affectionately known as "Scooter") was born on January 7th 1963, to the late Ms. Doris Wilson, and the late Mr. Leroy Bowlding.  Barry was the oldest of five children.  He was educated in the state of Maryland where he attended and graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. He also attended Goddard School where he became a track star and was invited to several Penn relays.  He received many awards and was well known as "Jelly Bean"  state to state. Barry worked at Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox, for many years as a Docket Coordinator. His last year of employment was at the law firm of Blank & Rome. Scooter loved cooking, baking and especially taking care of his Mother who was his world and to whom he dedicated his life. He was a loving, caring, and giving person to his friends and family. Barry's character spoke volumes as he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. His smile and laughter could brighten up the world and they will be truly missed.  Barry is survived by four siblings Katrina (William) Wesley, Traci Bowlding (Toney Henderson) of Atlanta, Marcel Bowlding, Shawan Bowlding of Maryland, his God daughter Maya of Maryland, seven nieces, five nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers, as well as his longtime friends, Jeff Manuel, Mark Dooms, and dear friend, Derwin Cherry.

On behalf of his siblings, we want to give a special thanks to his aunt Diane Atkins, his cousin Pamela Clayton, Derwin Cherry, Jeff Manuel, and Mark Dooms for being there to assist and support whatever Scooter needed; words can't explain the gratitude we have for the love you all had for our brother. Thank You.
