Caramia Glendora Ruffin affectionately known as Cara, Bubba or Mia was born on February 19, 1956 in Atlantic City New Jersey. She was the fourth child born to William Ruffin, Sr. and Alma Snead (Ruffin ) Noel who both predecease her.
Caramia attended the Atlantic City Public School System. She also attended the Atlantic County Vocational School for Cosmetology and went on to further this education by graduating from Paul Mitchell Beauty School in Toms River , NJ. Caramia held many professions but her greatest accomplishments by far was her six children.
She was a Cosmetologist,Certified Nurses Assistant at Meadow view Nursing Home in Northfield , NJ and a Construction Worker for Local 415 in Atlantic City NJ. In her later years she worked in Facilities Management for Masters Inc. In Gaithersburg MD and as a Childcare Provider.
In 1995 Caramia married Palestine R Croswell Jr aka John Copes who also predeceased her in 2005.
Caramia had a very deep love for God and Family. She was a true worshipper who knew the heart of God. She loved to cook and loved her family. She was able to see salvation for her
parents, siblings, children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. It was also once said that she likes to go where the angels dwell.
Through this passionate love that she had for Christ she taught all of her children nieces cousins and friends and anyone who she came in contact with about God. She impacted a generation to serve the Lord. You would always find her speaking about the Goodness of the Lord.
Caramia sang on the Praise and Worship Team at Sustaining Word Ministries located in Gaithersburg Maryland. She loved being in the presence of God. When she could no longer sing
she would sit in the audience and play her Tambourine. Still giving God all the glory no matter what she was going through. She didn’t give up nor give in. She stayed her course and fought the good fight of faith until It was her time and God called his daughter home to be with him.

MD, Markcus I. Ruffin of Annapolis, MD and Emmanuel Ruffin of Rockville, MD; one aunt, Patricia Eichelburger of NJ; three brothers Tyrone Ruffin of Frederick, MD, William S. Ruffin of
Atlantic City, NJ and Derek W Ruffin, Sr. ( Jeanette) of FL; three sisters ,Lena B (Ruffin) Bukula (Quanda) predeceased her, Stephanie Y. Crews Germantown MD and Lynette Noel of Frederick, MD. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, Naheim Holland, Amirah Holland, Aaliyah Ruffin, Josiah Green, Isaiah Ruffin, Jay��ï�ïïayah Green, Emmanuel Ruffin Jr, Joel Ruffin, Elena Ruffin, Adriel Ruffin and Zayden Ruffin, nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and her SWM Family.
