Obituary Catherine M. Cooper Thomas, was born on December 8, 1945, in Washington, DC, to the late McRein C. Thompson and Step-Father Howard Thompson. She was the oldest of 8 children from this union. Catherine received her call to eternal rest at the age of 75.5 on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She attended Montgomery County Schools, was married to the late Donald Thomas until his death in October 26,1984. Also preceded in death was her close friend Archie. Catherine was a very loving, caring Mother, Sister, Niece, Aunt, Cousin, Grandmother and Great grandmother. She always cared for everyone and took everyone in with open arms. She lived life abundantly, she enjoyed going for long walks, listening to music, reading, dancing and watching movies.
Catherine leaves to cherish in her memory are her children, Trina, Troy and Michael. Son In Law (Kenny).Her 10 grandchildren,Vermonica, Kharyree, Kevont’e, Kendra, Tyler, Naima,Julian,Treavon,Trenton,Tatianna.Three great granddaughters Nylah,Milanni Reign Isabelle and Gianna.Catherine also leaves to cherish in her memory are her 5 brothers, and 2 sisters, Howard (Barbara), Joseph, William(Deborah), Robert (Maira), Lewis (Cindy), Mary and Deborah and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws( Shirley), (Diane), (Mildred). and friends.
Memorial services will be held via Zoom on 08/21/21 at 1:30 pm.
