1938 – 2025

Charles Woo, 86, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, in Rockville, Maryland.

Born in China, Charles made his home in the United States, where he built a life rooted in quiet strength, deep devotion, and boundless generosity. He was a longtime resident of Rockville and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Theresa, and their four children—Michael, Pauline, Robert, and James. He was the proud grandfather of nine cherished grandchildren: Jordan, Christian, Ashley, Logan, Piper, Jonathan, Dylan, Olivia, and Connor.

A dedicated engineer and architect, Charles spent his career shaping the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area through his thoughtful designs and steadfast work ethic. But above all, he was known for his kindness, warmth, and the care he showed to everyone around him.

Charles had a smile that was always on—welcoming, genuine, and unforgettable. He had a quiet way of making people feel at ease, and his generosity touched the lives of many. His love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
