Charles "Pickles" William Smith, Jr.

Charles William Smith, Jr., affectionately known as "Pickles", was born on June 2,1952. at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. He was the fourth child and first son of Charles William Smith, Sr. ("Tank") and Phyllis Awkard Smith, Pickles spent most of his life in Olney, Maryland, and the surrounding communities. 

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Pickles received his angel wings and transitioned from labor to reward. He is now reunited with several beloved ancestors and family members who preceded him in death, including his parents, his sister, two brothers, and his grandson.
