Clara Luvenia Jackson affectionally known as cousin Sissy or Titan was born on May 24th 1933 and departed this life on September 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Ada and Theodore Jackson, brothers William, Donald, and Russell, daughter Mary Ann Jackson, and son James Jackson.
Clara was born and raised in Colesville, MD. She lived a large portion of her life in her childhood home where she raised her 3 children. She was a hardworking, loving mother who took care of her 3 children. Even buying her daughters baby dolls who they nicknamed headpiece and blinky. In later years she moved to St. Mary's County.
Cousin Sissy worked as a domestic for many years before retiring. In her free time she enjoyed watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys and Judge Judy, enjoying a cold one with her cousin Gladys, and enjoying a good laugh with family and friends. She also loved playing pokeno with friends and family as well. As many know Clara was a long standing member of Good Hope Union Methodist Church, before moving to St. Mary's County. Cousin Sissy has a knack for giving out nicknames such as Judy, Scrooge, Kit, and Doodles.
If you truly knew Cousin Sissy, you will definitely remember her one of kind laugh. You could tell her a story and she'd ask you to repeat several years later and would laugh as if she had just heard it for the first time. Usually her laughter would end up with her coughing and tears rolling down her face.
Clara leaves to cherish her memory, devoted daughter Jackie, son-in-law Richard, granddaughters Sherri, Shimika, and Dominique; sister-in-law Lisa Dodson, nephews, Donald, Tommy, Tyrone, niece Joyce, and greatgrandchildren, great-great granchildren, cousins, and many other family and friends from Colesville to St. Mary's county.
