Cottrice Udell Jeffries

Cottrice Udell Jeffries, loving known as CJ departed this world on May 26, 2022.

CJ was a fun loving person who loved life.  CJ was a brother, father, uncle and a friend to all who truly knew him.  CJ wore many hats.  He was known as CJ the smooth talking, well dressed man who loved a good dance ball.  The passionate chief who cherished cooking a good meal for all.   Famously known as the trash talking true died heart Washington Redskin fan.  Cottrice will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

To cherish his memory he leaves behind his children: Vontise Carter, Jerel Jeffries, Devin Jeffries, Kendra Jeffries , Alice Neiman and step daughter Shanté Alston.  His brother Anthony Jeffries, his sisters Sarita Jeffries and Shantel Irby.  His aunt Frances Robertson, his uncle Charles Irby and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We know to be absent here on this earth is to be presence with the Lord.  His mom, Joann Irby and brother Eddie Jeffries along with his uncles and aunts were waiting with open arms to receive him home.

The family will hold services at Interdenominational Church of God in Gaithersburg MD on Friday, June 3rd.  Viewing at 10am, services at 11:00am.
