Eddie was known for his strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. He worked for the retail company Last Stop, where he rose to the rank of manager and was entrusted with merchandise selection, a role that reflected both his good judgment and his eye for detail. In recent years, he earned certification as a licensed security guard with Allied Universal, demonstrating his commitment to providing for his family and serving others with dependability and care. He was also gifted with languages, a talent he shared with his daughter, Chloe, and spoke Spanish, Portuguese, and French, a skill that reflected both his intelligence and his ability to connect with people from many backgrounds.
Family was at the center of Eddie's life. He was preceded in death by his father, George Rowe Nzala He is survived by his son, Jayden Nzala, and his daughter, Chloe Nzala, who were among the greatest joys of his life. He leaves behind his mother, Rose Caroline Nzala, and his siblings, Alexander Nzala, Michael Nzala, and Bertha Gordon. Eddie's love for his family was evident in the time he shared with them, the care he gave, and the pride he took in being present for those he loved. His role as a father was especially meaningful to him, and he treasured the moments spent with his son, Jayden, particularly through their shared interest in basketball and cooking.
Eddie was a Christian, and his faith was an important part of his life. It gave him strength, guided his values, and helped shape the way he treated others.
