Ersa Mae Mack was born in Sidon, Mississippi on April 24,1948 to the late Willie Ethel Green (also known as Big Mama) and the late Dan Williams. Ersa departed this life on June 2nd, 2025 in Sandy Spring, MD. Ersa would live the majority of her life in Chicago, Illinois, the city she loved, and would spend the last few years of her life close to her immediate family in Rockville, Maryland.
Ersa was a devoted wife, a loving grandmother and a wonderful Sister. Ersa was one of five siblings: two brothers, Jesse (deceased) and Dan also known as “Archie” (deceased); beloved sisters Deseree and her twin Essie. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Elbert Mack, Jr. and the treasure of her heart, her one and only daughter, Angela Bonita (Marcus). Ersa known as “G-MA” also leaves behind grandson Vance, and two granddaughters, Jasmine, and Briana along with her nieces and nephew, Veloria, Billie (Antawn), and Major (Denise), her uncle, Travis (Jean) and numerous in-laws, cousins, other relatives and friends.
