In his later years, he made his home in Charles Town, West Virginia, where he continued to be surrounded by family and the life he had built. He passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, leaving behind a legacy rich with laughter, love, and the beauty of well-tended gardens.
