James Spencer McMillan was born on September 10, 1965 to Spencer Nathaniel McMillan and Lenora Mondeh McMillan in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa.
He received his early education in Monrovia, where he developed strong values of hard work, respect, and perseverance. James dedicated over 30 years of service as a Nursing Assistant at Collinswood Nursing Home, where he was known for his compassion, patience, and dedication to caring for others.
James was a loving father and grandfather whose greatest joy was his family. His kindness, strength, and warm spirit touched everyone who knew him.
James departed this life on June 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and service. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Spencer McMillan, Justus McMillan, and Elizabeth McMillan; his granddaughter Scarlett McMillan; his siblings Elizabeth Victoria McMillan, Rose McMillan, Christian McMillan and Ama McMillan; along with extended family and friends.
