Born to Uriah and Adeline Facey. Lester Nehemiah Facey was born in Jamaica on February 27, 1938 and passed away on August 9, 2023. Lester Facey was a resident of Hyattsville, Maryland.

Lester was educated in Jamaica and upon graduation attended trade school for carpentry. He lived in England prior to moving to the United States of America where he started his own Construction company, Facey and Sons Home Improvement, which he operated until his retirement. Even after officially retiring he continued to work in construction as that was his passion. His past time passion was gardening fruit and vegetables.

Lester had 8 siblings, he is survived by Kathleen and Lucas, preceded in death by Stanford, Vincent, Gilbert, Olive, and Evelyn. Lester was married to Miley Facey who preceded him in death.

Lester was a loving and caring father who was proud of his children. He is survived by his children Norma, Keith, Yvonne, Eric, Dawn, Neville, Leslie, Sonia, Beverley and Ian. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

His legacy will carry on through his descendants as his memory will be forever lasting. Lester will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
