Linda Augustus Ricketts

Linda A. Ricketts, age 75 of Montgomery Village Maryland, died on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at her home.

Born on May 8, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Earl P. and Gloria K. Augustus. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 23 years Ronald Y. Ricketts.

Linda attended Howard University and retired from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2004. She was a devoted member of the World Outreach Church. She enjoyed singing, cooking, and travel.

She leaves many to cherish her memory including her son and his family Reginald and Sana Augustus and two grandchildren Saniya and Arthur, who affectionately called her Grammy. She also leaves a sister Stephanie Mason.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda's honor to the American Lung Cancer Association.
