Lois Regina (Jennings) Williams was born in Washington, DC on November 24, 1950. Early in her life, she moved to Upper Marlboro, Maryland where she was raised by her mother, the late Theresa (Jennings) Curtis and stepfather, the late Everett A. Curtis, Sr. Lois attended St, Mary’s Catholic School briefly before moving on to Prince George’s County Public school system. After graduating from Croom Vocational School, Lois entered Job Corps where she received training in the field of Administrative Services. Upon completion of her Job Corps Training, she went to work for the Department of Health and Human Services where she remained a federal employee for 35 years. Lois was raised in the Catholic Church, first a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Upper Marlboro, Maryland and after moving to Washington, DC, she became a member of St. Luke Catholic Church where she was a loyal and devoted member. Lois regularly attended weekly and Sunday services; she was a member of the Gospel Choir and often assisted the Parish Priest and Parish Secretary with various office tasks. She remained a faithful member until she transitioned. Lois leaves to celebrate her life, her husband Robert (Bobby) Williams; daughter and best friend, Robyn R. Williams-Peoples; son-in-law, Mark T. Peoples; grandchildren, Mark E. and Mau’ryn J. Peoples; loving nephew & bonus son, Donald T. Brame (Takieya); brother, William H. (Skip) Jennings, sisters, Joyce Middleton, and Michelle Curtis (Tim); devoted niece, Bridget N. Hammett (Ricky); godson, Marcus Madison, and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother, Everett A. Curtis, Jr.
