Mamie Virginia Plummer was born August 18, 1925 to the late Harry and Lottie Plummer and she departed her life on February 13, 2021 peacefully at her resident in Germantown, MD. Mamie Virginia Plummer attend Montgomery County Public Schools. Mamie was employed as a Domestic Care Worker in her younger years.
Mamie was baptized in September 1972 at Poplar Grove Baptist Church by Rev. James Prather. She was a faithful member of Shekinah Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Leroy T. Murray where she completed 100 hours of church study courses. Then Mamie joined John Wesley U.M. Church in Clarksburg, MD under the leadership of Pastor Harry Smith until her illness made her unable to attend. As you can see Mamie loved the house of the LORD! She was a faithful member of all she attended! Mamie loved baking, cooking, sewing and having a good time with her family, she loved getting dressed up fancy and throwing a hat on to match. Mamie was "known" for her Homemade Rolls.
Mamie was the last of her immediate family she is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Lottie Plummer, her siblings Earl, Elmer, Harry, Howard, Lawrence and Roy Plummer . One Great Aunt Sadie Plummer Bailey White. One niece named after her Mamie Plummer Benjamin. She leaves t mourn, but we know "JOY" comes in the morning; her niece/daughter Delores Davis, Godson Erik Murray, her caregiver for 15 years, Catherine Brown and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives and a special loving friend Geneva Aristil.
