Michael Anthony Burton

Mchael Anthony Burton (Mike) was called home to rest on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, MD. Mike was born on May 17, 1980, in Onley, MD, to George T And Geraldine Burton. Mike attended Prince George's County Public Schools and graduated from High Point High School in 1998. He later attended the University of Maryland. In 2014, he began his career with USPS, where he worked diligently until his passing.

Mike was known for his hard work, loyalty, and determination always well dressed with the latest shoes on. He had a great sense of humor often bringing laughter to those around him. He was a big old teddy bear Mike loved his family so much. He was at all the family functions. He would show up late but he was going to be there, no matter what.

Mike was genuinely a nice person, loved by everyone who met him. He will be greatly missed but we know he in a better place.

Mike leaves to cherish his memory his parents, George T and Geraldine Burton; two brothers, Darryl and Darnell (Kelly); three sisters, Joyce (Paul), Audrey, and Pamela; along with nieces, nephews, a great-nephew, a great-niece, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George W and Laura Burton, Walter and Ella Cooper; his brokers, George T Burton Jr.; and his nephew, Kendall Burton.
