Nery L Lopez

Nery Leonel Lopez Prudencio, 50, died on February 13, 2021. In Washington D.C. 

He was born September 16, 1970 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He was the son of late Juan Lopez and late Maria Prudencio, Nery was the third child out of 7 and is survived by his two older brothers. Nelson and Ricardo Prudencio as well as his four younger sisters, Ericka Garcia-Castellon,  Sandra Garcia-Quintanilla, Karina Garcia and Lubia Garcia. His brothers in law Agustin Castellon, Jose Quintanilla and Ranuel Coleman. His nephews Israel, Richard, Brian, Carlos, and Jayson, Ranuel Jr. and Brandon. His nieces, Luz, Marbel, Yessenia, Jennifer, Carol, Ashley, Katherine, Sandy, and Jazlynn.  As well as one uncle and many cousins. 

Nery Growing up was always very active he enjoyed riding his bike, as well as other sports and outdoor activities. He was also a body building enthusiast. He also enjoyed cooking as he sang since he had love for music. As a young man at the age of 17 in 1988 Nery relocated to the U.S. 

He will not only be remembered by his family, church congregation, and many friends as a hard working man that he was but for the friendliness and kindness that he offered to anyone that he would meet always willing to help others with a smile on his face. He had a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. 

His presence will be deeply missed. The Lord giveth; The Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the lord! With great sadness but with humble acceptance of God’s will we hope to meet with you again. You have fought a good fight and you have finished thee good race. Beloved you are and forever should remain. Rest In Peace Nery.
