Ramona Juanita Johnson

Ramona Juanita Johnson, age 60, of Rockville, Maryland departed this life on June 9, 2021 at 2:01 a.m. Ramona was born to Roddy Franklin Crome and Jessie Mae Wright Crome on June 27, 1960.

Ramona gave her life to the Lord at an early age as a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. She also participated in many church activities in various other churches, including Sunday School and Youth ministry.  Ramona loved the Lord and was a worshipper. She attended the University of Maryland and Howard University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Ramona married her high school sweetheart, Rupert Johnson.  From this 37-year union was born two beautiful daughters, Rachel, and Rochelle.

Ramona worked for the United States Postal Service for approximately 33 years. She was also a business owner of RJJ Associates, a business about skin care, beauty, health, and home care products. Ramona enjoyed music and performing arts. She shared her passion for dance, particularly ballet, with her daughters from a young age. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She also loved to cook.

She leaves to mourn her loving husband, Rupert Johnson; two daughters, Rachel and Rochelle; two older brothers, Reginald Roddy Crome and Stuart Brian Crome; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed.
