Reba G. Barnhill was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She departed from us on January 4th, 2022, at the age of 64. She was born to Kenneth and Faye Greene on November 6, 1957. Throughout her schooling, Reba was a gifted athlete and loved softball, running, basketball and cheerleading to name a few. After graduating high school, Reba chased her dreams by buying her first hot rod car and soon after met her husband, Leander Barnhill. Reba is the mother of four beautiful ladies: Chanel, Aja, April and Morgan Barnhill. She is survived by her beloved father, Kenneth E. Greene, her three brothers: Sylvester, Gary, and Ron Greene, as well as her one and only lovely sister, Denise Greene.
Reba loved traveling, singing, laughing, and spending time with family. Family to her was everything. Reba touched and made a lasting impression on everyone she came across, whether it was the students and staff at Summit Hall Elementary School as an Instructional Support or the neighborhood children throughout her years. Reba’s infectious laugh, positive attitude and playful nature filled her home and everywhere she went.
Reba was loved and will greatly be missed by all the lives she touched. Although this is a time of grieving, we know she would want us to celebrate her life with a beautiful smile.
