Robert Lee Deputy was born in October of 1946, in Mineral County, Keyser, West Virginia.
The son of the late Helen Ozella Cross (March 4th, 1919), and Rex Harrienton Deputy (Febuary 28th, 1915)
Robert lived in West Virginia until he left for the Army in 1966. Ending up in Maryland, he became a United States Postal Worker, and he met his future wife, Carolyn O’Dell Graham (October 18th, 1951 – July 28th, 2008,) during one of his routes. The remains of Robert Lee and Carolyn O’Dell will both be placed together, and buried at the family plot in West Virginia, reunited once again with the wife and the land he loved so deeply.
Survived by two sons, Michael Brian and Timothy Wayne; as well as five grandchildren, Manuel, Marco, Shane, Matthew, and Brandon; and 2 great-grandchildren Serenity and Harmony Deputy; sisters Nancy Liller and Sally Deputy Henderson.
