Roosevelt Twyman, born in Maryland on February 17, 1929, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was a longtime resident of Potomac, Maryland.

Roosevelt was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 77 years, Laure Virginia (Dove) Twyman; his son, Roosevelt W. Twyman; and his granddaughter, Robin Moore.

The firstborn child of the late Mary Anne Twyman Wilson, Roosevelt lived a life marked by devotion to family and quiet strength. He cherished the relationships he formed throughout his life and touched the lives of many with his kindness and warm presence.

Roosevelt will be remembered with love and affection by all who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he enriched.
