Rosetta Ann Clipper was born on May 6, 1951. She was the youngest of five children of James and Bernice Clipper. Rosetta, known also as “Mary,” was a native of Montgomery County, born and raised in Boyd’s Maryland also known as Block Town. Rosetta was a graduate of Gaithersburg high school.
Rosetta is survived by her only child Nicole Bayles and son- in- law Edward Bayles. She was a devoted mother and the absolute best grandmother to Lola Collins and Luci Bayles. She was known for her amazing cooking and her love of shopping and she handed down both of those passions to her daughter Nicole. Rosetta was a lover of travel and had the honor to have traveled to some amazing countries with her long- time friend Mr. Henry Nash. At the time of her death, she was a program analyst for the USDA in the Division of Natural Resources and Conservation Service.
Rosetta is survived by her oldest sister Laverne Thomas and her brother Ernest Clipper. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Bernice Clipper, her sister Carolyn (Janie) Hartgrove and brother Thomas Clipper. Rosetta leaves behind her beautiful nieces and nephews that she absolutely adored.
