Chris A Beasley was born on November 24, 1965, in Washington, D.C. from the union of Goldie J. Beasley (Onley) and James L. Beasley, Sr. who preceded him in death. He entered into eternal rest while at home in Highland Falls, NY on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
Chris grew up in Washington, D.C. and he attended D.C. Public Schools. He was baptized at an early age at Antioch Baptist Church in Northeast Deanwood.
Chris first job was at the National Institute of Health (NIH) where he worked for over 10 years. He then worked at Antioch Baptist Church for about 3 years before embarking on his adventure to Germany for a new and interesting start. He worked on the Army Military Base in Babenhausen first at AAFES (Army & Airforce Exchange Service) as a sales associate and then as a KP (kitchen personal) in the mess hall.
In 2000 while in that little town called Babenhause,nat a little bar called Cheers, Chris met Joanna who would become the love of his life. They married and from that union they had one son Andre Eugene. In March of 2006 Chris was transferred to New York for work where he worked at West Point Military Academy at the cadet mess as a cook.
While in New York his oldest son Chris Jr. joined him and remained with him for some time. Chris was a loving husband, father and he loved his family. He was a very caring person who would do anything for anybody.He loved cooking/grilling and all sports (especially basketball and football).
He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Joanna, three sons: Chris Andre, Andre Eugene and Justin De Vante, three brothers; James, Keith and John and two sisters Shirlita and Selina and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah J. and brothers Kenneth 0. and John D.
