Edna Gray Moses Obituary

Edna Mae Gray Moses ( Mae Mae) departed this life for her eternal one on September 3, 2019 as a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

 She was born in Rockville, Maryland on February 21, 1942 to the late Frances Young and Harry Johnson. She was baptized at an early age and later confirmed by the Archdiocese of Washington D.C. and remained an active member at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Washington, D.C.

 She was married to the late Richard Gray, Sr.  and from that union are 3 loving children: Tammy Hamlin, of Washington, D.C., Richard Gray, Jr. (Gerald) of Coatesville, Pa, Eric Gray (Gaynell) of Chesterfield, VA. She met and married Harold Moses who were both partners and friends as they adored daughter Tiffany Moses of Fayetteville, NC. Leaving to cherish her memories, Grandchildren: Lafayette Gray (Danielle) of Fredericksburg, VA, Amon Hamlin of WV, Domonique Savoy (Shaunice) of Bowie, MD, Briana Ojelade of Indianapolis, IN, Jaclyn Smith of Landover, MD., 10great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Betty Johnson of  Damascus,  MD and a host of nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron Hamlin.

 She was a committed employee at the Walter Reed Medical Center until her retirement and worked after at Union Row in Washington, DC as a concierge in her ability to always assist and direct anyone that needed help.

 We thank God for the committed and devoted friendship through many years by Trina and her daughter Mercedes in keeping a daily eye on our dear Mae Mae.

 She is now in the Loving Arms of Jesus.
