Elizabeth M. Macon White was born July 31, 1926 in Waverly, Alabama, to John Wesley Macon and Luddie Harris Macon.
After her father's passing, her Mother Luddie moved the family to Hartwell, Georgia.
She was married to Climous Sheller and from that union came one son, Michael.
Later she married John White and though they didn’t have any children of their own, they spent many devoted years together before the Lord called him home in 2004.
"Liz", as she was affectionately called, was a determined, courageous and spiritual woman.
Having God in her life allowed her to get through some of the setbacks and hard times she faced over the years. Liz often said she “could not have made it through without holding on to God's unchanging hand". Her faith in Him to make it through each day was unwavering; Liz was a survivor.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her Father (John Wesley Macon), her mother (Luddie Harris Macon Teasley), Sisters, (Mary, Lillie Mae, Vera, Carrie, and Lula), two brothers, (John and Willie) and one niece (Louise).
Left to cherish her memory is her son Michael Andrew Sheller, her niece Avis Macon Singletary-Graves, Michael’s wife Lynne Sheller, granddaughters Melissa and Michelle, one great-granddaughter Maleeha, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Elizabeth White answered God’s call on December 24, 2018.
