Robert Osei Owusu a.k.a. Yaw Osei was born to Oheneba Emmanuel Kwame Owusu and Madam Mary Afua Mansah Yeboah, both of blessed memory, on July 14, 1950 at Obo-Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Ghana. His Father was a very popular and successful businessman, trading in all kinds of goods. His Mother was also a trader. Robert went to Oba Presbyterian School and then came to Accra to attend Odogono High School. In 1 68, Robert's older brother Richard Kye Owusu invited him to the United States. While in the U.S.A. Robert attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, D.C. After graduating from High School, Robert at tended American University and Strayer University and studied Business Administration. He had a love for people and enjoyed interacting with others. In 1974, Robert started working as a Front Desk Receptionist dt The London House in Arlington, Virginia. · In 1981, Robert started working at Wesley Condominium where he worked for 37 years until he became ill. In September of 2018, Robert fell sick and passed peacefully on January 12, 2019.
Robert leaves behind a wife and was blessed with two children: Brenda Owusu and John Owusu. Robert was very dedicated to his family and worked hard to provide a living for them. Robert is survived by many family and friends who will miss him dearly. Rest in Perfect Peace Robert Osei Owusu. We love you so much! You and Richard are back together again.
