Brenda Kosh Obituary

BRENDA ANN KOSH was born on November 10, 1950 in Washington, D.C. to the late Merlin C. Williams and Annie V. Williams. She was called home by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.

Brenda was wed to Richard E. Kosh and shared an exceptionally devoted loving union spanning more than 40 years. Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband and best friend, Richard E. Kosh, on December 5, 2007; her parents, Merlin C. Williams, Sr., on November 8, 1997 and Annie V. Williams on December 11, 1985 and sister, Beverly J. Jones on March 24, 2013.

Brenda attended various Montgomery County Public Schools, obtaining her High School Diploma from Spring Brook High School in 1968. Brenda was a career employee of the Montgomery County Public School Transportation Division, serving as both a Bus Attendant and Dispatcher. In her earlier years, Brenda was an avid amateur sketch artist, a passion she shared with her father Merlin C. Williams, Sr.

Brenda initially found the light and truth of the Lord's grace with her beloved husband Richard at Hopkins United Methodist Church in Highland, Maryland. Later rediscovering his grace and mercy within the congregation of her church family at the Resurrection Baptist Church in Ashton, Maryland.

Brenda had a passion for cooking and sharing her love with everyone through good food. She served the church as part of the Benjamin Family and the Culinary Ministry. Brenda's loving warmth and inviting smile will truly be missed by all whose lives she had so dearly and deeply touched and inspired.

Brenda was a devoted sister and aunt and in her homegoing  she leaves to mourn: a beloved nephew, Michael J. Jackson, whom she considered her son, Jacinta Jones, a loving niece and care giver; 4 brothers, Merlin C. Williams, Jr., Donald E. Williams, Calvin E. Williams, Grant C. Williams; 2 sisters, Claudia V. Thornton, Cassandra L. Cook and a host of other nieces, nephews and close family friends.
