Edwin Saunders Kibunja, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 18, 2024 in his hometown of Montgomery County, MD at 41 years old. Born to Linda and Peter Kibunja on September 27, 1982, in Washington, DC, Edwin’s adventurous spirit and vibrant life will be fondly remembered.

Edwin was also a talented musician who played guitar, bass, and drums as a hobby; and enjoyed playing soccer throughout his youth and into college.
Edwin is survived by parents, Linda and Peter Kibunja, sister Amri Rouson, brother-in-law Jas Rouson, nephews Japhya, Jarroq, Jageau, and niece Amri Jae.
