Kimberly Michelle Jorgensen

Kimberly "Kimm" Michelle Jorgensen, nee Proffitt, of Bowie passed away in December 2018 at the age of 38.

She is survived by her parents, Vaughn and Deborah Proffitt, and her four sisters, Jackie Proffitt, Joanne Rupp, Amy Adams, and Heather Dell.

Born in Rockville, Maryland on May 3o, 1980, Kimm was the middle of five sisters. She was a natural mediator who sought to bring everyone together and never hesitated to say "I love you." In her too short life, Kimm earned her pilot's license and dreamed of one day becoming a commercial airline pilot or air traffic controller.

She was an avid rock music lover, and two of her favorite bands were Queen and Pink Floyd. She was also a devoted pet parent to her rescue dog, Jacob. Above all, Kimm will be remembered as a kind-hearted, beautiful soul who loved her family. She was deeply loved in return, and her spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
