Marguerite Harris Obituary

Marguerite B. Harris passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. Marguerite was born on June 19,1927, to Cornelius Coles and Sarah Bell Coles. Margie, as she was fondly called, was married to Henry E. Harris for 63 years. To this union were born 3 children -- Harvey (JoAnn), Winfred (Maria) and Simoko (Michael).

She also leaves a best friend, Helen Cooper and many friends at Rollingcrest Commons where she led an exercise class well into her eighties.

She was predeceased by her husband, her son Harvey, and her grandson Timothy Harris. Marguerite leaves behind many grandchildren, relatives, and friends that will miss her, especially her daughter Kim who was with her throughout her final journey.

She was treated like a queen during her last days of life by wonderful nurses and aides from Holy Cross Home Hospice.

Interment, Amelia County, VA.
