Marvin Lee Curtis was born on October 3, 1963. He was one of the four children of Clarence Curtis Sr. and Carol Henderson Curtis. His father, Clarence Sr. preceded him in death. Marvin was a student of Montgomery County Public Schools and graduated from Churchill High School in 1981.
Following his graduation from high school, Marvin chose to serve his country and joined the United States Army, where he served until 1984.
In 1986, Marvin was bestowed the coveted title of Daddy when he was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Kimesha Yvonne Dominique Curtis. Marvin cherished his beautiful daughter, until the day the Lord called her home to Heaven.
True to his family's strong work ethic, Marvin worked for the Montgomery County Government for most of his career and then later worked for Montgomery County Public Schools.
In 1999, Marvin met Robertlene Stewart-Tyler and they later married. From then until now, they will forever share wonderful and cherished memories.
Over the past few years, Marvin overcame many medical challenges. He always displayed courage and strength and a positive attitude. However, in the evening hours of February 1, 2019, Marvin departed this life and entered into eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Robertlene A. Tyler Curtis; his mother, Carol Curtis; his sister, Tamra Henderson; his brothers, Clarence Curtis, Jr. and Travis Curtis; his sisters-inlaw, Cynthia Curtis and Dee Curtis; his stepdaughters, Raina Tyler and Brynn Tucker; his grandchildren, Kennard "KJ" Wall and Ka'Ryann Tyler; his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives and many friends
