On Monday, August 24, 2020, Pauline passed away peacefully at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital. Pauline was the nineth child born to the late Sallie and John Clinton Imes. She was born on September 10, 1936. Pauline attended and graduated from Montgomery County Public Schools. She was employed in the healthcare profession as a unit clerk and nursing assistant at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, Maryland for over 30 years. She went on to work at MAMSI Healthcare in Rockville, Maryland before retiring and later became a private in-home caregiver. Pauline was also a BIG Washington Redskins fan.
Along with her parents Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hebron "Leon"; five brothers: Clinton, Johnny, William “Bill”, Jerry and George; three sisters: Alberta, Catherine and Mary. She is survived by her seven children: James, Betsy Marks (Jesse), Leona Campbell (Elton), Maurice, Penny Copman (Vincent), Sally, and Nancy Isreal; one sister: Betsey Hebron; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
