Rose Palmer Obituary

Rose Ann (Budd) Palmer, 69 passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021, in Damascus, Maryland.  Rose was born on April 1, 1951, to the late Mary Catherine Swann.

Rose attended Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, Maryland.  After attending Sherwood High School, Rose worked at Asbury Nursing Home, Ramada Inn Hotel, Compri Hotel, Merry Maids, and Remac as the Lead Supervisor of Housekeeping.  Due to her health condition, she retired from the field and turned to her hobbies: Knitting, Crocheting, Sewing, Drawing, and her favorite past time reading  "James Patterson's" books.  Whenever you spoke with Rose she would always talk about her children and especially her grandkids. Rose had much love for them.

Rose was married to Robert (Buck) Palmer Sr, which preceded her in death.  Rose was a beloved mother of Joy Cooper-Foushee, son-in-law (Terrence), son, Keith Cooper, Donald Cooper, Jr., Carlos Cooper, daughter-in-law (Juanita), Robert Palmer, Jr., Anthony Palmer, and Stevie Palmer.  Rose also leaves two older brothers: Ernest G. Johnson (Clara), and Howard E. Johnson, and one younger sister, Sharon Budd Bellamy; 16 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, preceded in death by one grandson Eddie Lee Jeffries Jr. (EJ).   She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
