Stephane Yankey

Our son, brother and friend Stephane B. Yankey was touched by God on Sunday, April 11, 2021 and was called home to take his eternal rest.  Steven had such a pure and gentle soul that touched so many lives.  He was loved by everyone in his wide circle of family and friends.  Steven is now smiling down on us as we look up to him.

Stephane B. Yankey was born October 31 1994. His father, Matthew B. Yankey and his mother, Lucie K. Yankey had an older son Ange B. Yankey who departed on August 21 1992 before Stephane was born. Stephane has one sister, Lawrencia-Isabelle Yankey.

Stephane was born with a heart condition; he had a hole in his heart. He survived so many health challenges until he was 26 years old. Growing up Stephane was a very quiet, laid-back, and peaceful soul. He would always stay to himself, play with friends, or he would go into his room and create music. Stephane received his elementary education from Mill Creek Towne and his secondary education from Shady Grove Middle school. Colonel Zadok A. Magruder High School but did not finish. He started working at McDonalds for some years but then met his new boss and started his new career working for Green Home Solutions. He loved his job and was very passionate of what he did. Stephane was a lovely soul always willing to help and assist everyone in need.
 
Stephane love for music was very deep and strong. One quote he told his boss was “You’ve already made something out of nothing, so imagine what you can make out of something!” He always had faith that if he puts his mind to it, he could achieve anything in this world.
